The Vendor Manager is responsible for the day to day business of a number of third party payment products and services and their corresponding suppliers. In addition, he/she is also responsible for ensuring a smooth and effective use of third party payment products and services. He/she is involved in the further development of the portfolio of available third party payment products and services, including alignment of existing third party suppliers with marketing, sales and business strategy. He/she is responsible for the successful operational liaison between third party suppliers and the Global Collect departments.
The Vendor Manager will support the Commercial Vendor Manager, assist in projects, support the commercial goals of the company. Furthermore he/she is responsible for handling incidents and escalations with vendors and/or internal departments and will maintain positive relations with both. Moreover, he/she is responsible for keeping the product and services knowledge up to date.The Vendor Manager reports to the VP Vendor Management
Vendor Management is responsible for managing all aspects of the third party payment products and services that contribute directly to the Global Collect products and services portfolio. These third parties (called vendors or suppliers) mainly consist of next generation payment providers such as banks, (credit) card acquirers, payment gateways and fraud screening companies.
