As CRO, David heads up our New Business Development efforts Globally. David’s career spans 20 successful years in Business Development and Sales Leadership. His experience is in the E-Commerce, Retail, T&E and Recurring Bill-Pay Channels with the acquiring arm of JPMorgan Chase. Prior to Chase Paymentech, David spent 10 years in the global telecommunications industry applying extensive technology integration and sales background with companies like MCI Worldcom and Impsat/Global Crossing where his focus was on the Financial industry. He is a proven executive in driving sales culture for both small start up’s to large established Fortune 500 organizations.
Before joining GlobalCollect, Rick was accountable globally for Nokia Siemens Network's Business Support Solutions and Value Added Application Services business, driving product development, sales, delivery and maintenance and support of all products in this portfolio. As an accomplished technology executive with a strong focus on business performance, he held prior to the above senior leadership positions within companies ranging from small/medium size start-up firms (Vizzavi and Global Interface) to transforming technology organisations within a corporate environment (like Vodafone, Telfort and Shell). Rick holds a Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics from Leiden University and lives currently in the Netherlands.
Kesh Talwar has over 20 years experience in international and B2B payments. Kesh spent over 15 years at First Data where he last managed and built the global acquiring business. Prior to that he was responsible for the strategy and product development of the B2B business, the mobile commerce platform and sales. Some of his other notable experiences were at MasterCard International where he managed interchange and also built the phone calling card platform.
Before joining GlobalCollect, Stephen held various roles at Barclays Group, including the Risk Head for Global Payments, where he managed the payments principal risk program for Barclays across the group’s international footprint. Prior to Barclays Steve was the Chief Risk Officer for ING Cards Germany, and held various operations and risk roles at Citibank.
Johan is an experienced senior manager in the payments industry, with almost 20 years experience in various senior management roles. Before joining GlobalCollect, Johan was the CTO at CCV, a leading European player in the card-present payments industry. Prior to this role he was a senior manager at Equens (former Interpay) where he was leading the IT/Operations departments for many years. Before this role he was responsible for the entire debit cards business (PIN) at Interpay during the introduction of the euro and later on the introduction of EMV. Prior to his roles at Equens he held positions at Prolin and Hewlett Packard. Johan holds a degree in Business Informatics.
Huib is a seasoned professional in finance and has held the Chief Financial Officer role at Telfort, Wind- Hellas Telecommunications in Greece and most recently, the VoiceCash group of companies, including its bank in Malta. Prior to these roles he had various senior financial roles with companies such as Ernst & Young, RJ Reynolds International, and O2. Huib holds degrees in Business Informatics and Business Administration and received his Chartered Public Accountant registration from the University of Amsterdam.
Eric Kriesels joined GlobalCollect in 2006 as Vice President Legal Affairs and has been instrumental to the growth of GlobalCollect. Before joining the executive team in March 2010 as General Counsel, Eric Kriesels was Chairman of the Board of Stichting Global Collect Trust. Eric Kriesels has a Master degree in law at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam and started his career as solicitor. Before joining GlobalCollect, Eric Kriesels held positions at various international companies in the financial and pharmaceutical industry.

Dutch National Bank (DNB) authorized Payment Services Provider
As of 1 November 2009, under Section 2:3a of the “Wet op het financieel toezicht” or Wft [Financial Supervision Act], no one may pursue the business of a payment service provider without an authorisation issued by DNB. DNB issued a license for GlobalCollect to provide payment services as it satisfied the applicable conditions. Payment service providers holding a license are referred to as ‘payment institutions’. DNB is the supervisor for prudential supervision of payment institutions in the Netherlands, and due diligence of GlobalCollect by the DNB occurs annually.
GlobalCollect is ISAE 3402 Type II compliant for processing all payment products
To obtain an ISAE 3402 Type II qualification, GlobalCollect has defined specific control objectives in order to meet the requirements for processing all payment products within its portfolio. An independent auditor performed an on-site ISAE 3402 Type II audit regarding processes for all payment products offered by GlobalCollect during the period of January 1 until December 31, 2013. With this qualification, GlobalCollect demonstrates that it has an appropriate set of rigorous controls and safeguards in place to service its merchants further. International Standards for Assurance Engagements (ISAE) No. 3402, Assurance Reports on Controls at a Service Organization, replaces SAS70 and is effective as of 15 June 2011. ISAE 3402 is an internationally recognized auditing standard of the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB). By providing the ISAE 3402 Type II report, GlobalCollect aims to assist merchants in complying with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act in relation to payment services outsourced to GlobalCollect. www.isae3402.com
BACS granted GlobalCollect BV with a Bureau status. This Bureau status enables GlobalCollect to send UK direct debit files for multiple merchants using merchant specific Originator numbers (OIN's). www.bacs.co.uk
