| Business Development Manager |
GlobalCollect’s home base is in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. For our offices in Amsterdam, San Francisco and Singapore, we are in search of highly motivated Business Development Managerswho will make a significant contribution to our growth strategy by acquiring new customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Identifying target prospects and bringing them through the entire sales cycle – from proposal, to pricing negotiation, through technical implementation, to generating and maintaining revenue
- Promoting GlobalCollect at trade shows, seminars and other events in target industries
- Advise management of developments in the payment processing marketplace and propose future strategic initiatives within the company
Professional Requirements:
- Affinity with complex concept selling (consultative selling) and the full sales cycle
- Strong client focus including ability to think in terms of client experience/perspective
- Proven networking and business development skills within the payment processing and/or e-commerce industries
- Highly result orientated, pro-active, self-starter (able to hit the ground running and add immediate value), independently driven
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, including the ability to speak in front of audiences
- BS/BA degree (an MBA is preferred) plus 2 to 5 years of professional experience

| Key Account Manager |
Goal of Account Management - The goal of Account Management is to retain and grow GlobalCollect’s existing account portfolio.
Principal Purpose of Role - The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing key accounts. Accounts generating more than €250k revenue p/y are qualified as Key Accounts. A Key Account Manager is responsible for a substantial portfolio of globally operating accounts, including companies like Microsoft, Real Networks and Vivendi.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop long term and trusted relationship as business partner in international payment processing.
- Maximize customer satisfaction and grow existing accounts: meet or exceed account growth targets as defined in account plan.
- Identify up-sell opportunities and pro-actively contact existing customers regarding new products and services.
- Organize and lead monthly and quarterly account reviews to review active payment products, volumes and service levels.
- Effectively coordinate with other departments to resolve any customer issues.
Professional Requirements:
- Masters or equivalent level (preferably MBA)
- A proven track record in business-to-business Sales and relationship management
- 5+ years commercial experience in payments or e-commerce industry.

| Sales Support Manager |
Objectives of department
The main objective of the Sales Support and Account Management department is serving both internal and external customers. The Sales Support division of the department is responsible for the day to day operational relationship with all merchants, merchant training, monitoring flow of merchants, escalations, merchant questions, preparation of invoices and reports. We also identify and communicate sales opportunities, provide analyses and reports for sales professionals and coordinate the administrative processes for intake and application of a merchant.
Principal Purpose of Role
The Sales Support Manager is the first point of contact for merchants and fully supports the sales professionals in the organisation. The Sales Support Manager is responsible for working on several processes including achieving the defined service level agreements for that process.
Key responsibilities:
- Day to day contact with merchants in assigned verticals
- Set up accounts (Application & Intake Forms)
- Escalate and resolve issues
- Communicate with merchants on business issues
- Work with internal departments to ensure the highest level of support for merchants

| Software Test Engineer |
About the Development and Test Department: GlobalCollect’s Development Team manages the unique payment platform and product portfolio that our clients have valued for more than a decade. This team is responsible for monitoring and adjusting the quality of products and processes surrounding our innovative payment processing platform and payment portfolio. In addition to managing the heart of GlobalCollect’s portfolio, the Development Team also oversees the initiation, implementation and monitoring of new releases to the payment platform.
Key responsibilities:
The Software Test Engineer is responsible for the development, execution, defect analysis, and documentation of verification and regression tests. The candidate must have experience with complex systems that include real-time constraints. Our innovative and technological platforms are based in Linux, Java and C code, and Oracle and Ingress databases. The candidate should exhibit a leadership attitude and willingness to participate hands-on with testing
Professional Requirements:
- Minimal HBO level (BS Computer Science)
- Experienced: with Linux/Unix, C, JAVA, SQL, XML
- Preferred: Shell Script, HTTPS, Uniface
- Good command of the English language and preferred Dutch speaking

The candidate should have a HBO degree with 3-5 year experience as an Oracle DBA, knowledge of Oracle 10g and RAC is a plus. Knowledge of Iplanet, Jboss and Java is a big plus. Also the candidate should be familiar with the following software and systems like Sun Solaris, Unix-scripting, Tomcat, Certificates, PHP, LDAP, SSH, SSL, XML and HTML

The main objective of the Merchant Implementations Team is to manage the implementation of new merchants, products and suppliers and to manage co-ordination of adjustments of existing merchants, products and suppliers. In addition, the Implementation Manager will advise on product implementations and adjustments.
Objectives of the jobThe Implementation Manager is responsible for realising implementations and adjustments for specified merchants and suppliers within the internal service levels agreed.
Key responsibilities:
- Co-ordination with the various teams – Product Development, Marketing & Sales, Operations & ICT, Merchant Accounting and Finance to manage implementations;
- Dealing with external suppliers that provide services related to implementations;
- Consultancy for merchants prior to actual implementation process;
- Co-managing the relation with merchants and suppliers during an implementation process;
- Accreditation Testing;
- Setting implementation priorities to allocate available resources;
- Reporting on hours spent and other costs incurred;
