header

Our scalable Fraud Screening Service features a range of integrated fraud reduction tools to maximize the safety of Customer Not-Present (CNP) transactions in less than a second prior to payment authorization, including:

  • CVC Check
  • Address Verification
  • Neural networks to detect suspicious patterns
  • IP geolocation
  • Delayed Settlement / Authorization Only
  • Soft Descriptor
  • Online Account validation

Direct debit is a very popular payment method and synonymous with fraud risk. At GlobalCollect we have developed a solution to screen these transactions.

Several components are built into the direct debit fraud tools, including:

  • Velocity Rules
  • Blacklists
  • Refuse/Reject on Multiple Reversals
  • Proprietary Direct Debit Fraud Screening

Fraud prevention is a priority for us, so we continue to work on reducing transaction risks to an absolute minimum in conjunction with renowned partners, among them:

Retail Decisions (ReD) - providing industry-leading Card Non-Present fraud prevention. Based on a series of Merchant-defined criteria, card transactions are checked prior to authorization and approved or declined automatically.

3D Secure - offered under the "Verified by Visa" brand name for Visa card transactions. MasterCard/Maestro offers the same standard under the "MasterCard SecureCode" label.

Quova - specializing in IP geolocation data, which enables us to determine the real-world location of a Web visitor and break down card holder details to country, state or city.

Experian - providing real-time online account validation of bank account details prior to processing. This substantially reduces the time spent administrating rejected payments, resulting in cost savings and improved customer service.

InterCard 4Safe - for inquires regarding direct debits in Germany to help minimize payment risks by requesting potential negative information about local bank accounts.
