GlobalCollect Partners with Trustwave to Provide PCI DSS Compliance Validation to Merchants
GlobalCollect, the world-s premier Payment Service Provider (PSP) of local e-payment solutions for international Customer Not-Present businesses, and Trustwave have announced a compliance management program to help GlobalCollect merchants worldwide validate compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. Amsterdam/Chicago -- PCI DSS is the payment card industry security requirement for entities that store, process or transmit cardholder data, and has been endorsed by all the major card brands - Visa Inc., MasterCard Worldwide, Discover Network, American Express and JCB. Merchant compliance requirements are segmented into four levels based on the number of transactions a merchant processes annually.
As a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA), Trustwave's compliance validation program will provide PCI DSS services and solutions to GlobalCollect's entire merchant population including, but not limited to, retail, travel, gaming, financial services and software providers. GlobalCollect will offer Trustwave's Risk Profiler(r), an online portal that defines data security risk associated with credit card acceptance practices. Risk Profiler guides merchants through a dynamic question-set about their card acceptance environment. It then analyzes and correlates the responses to give merchants and service providers a risk score.
Trustwave's Risk Profiler is the first stage of its TrustKeeper(r) on-demand compliance management solution. TrustKeeper provides merchants with access to tools necessary to validate PCI DSS compliance, including the required quarterly network vulnerability scan.
