Implementation Consultant

The Implementation Consultant is responsible for guiding new (and changes on existing) merchants to connect to the Global Collect payment platform and configuring the online and off line systems according to merchants needs within the agreed service levels.

New merchants have to be boarded after business development has closed a deal. This is how we define implementation within Global Collect.
The main objective of Merchant Implementations (MI) is to manage the implementation of new merchants and change requests of existing merchants. The Implementation Consultant reports to the Vice President Merchant Implementations

Key responsibilities:

• Guide merchants in connecting to the online platform of Global Collect; sometimes onsite of the merchant
• Presales consultancy: implementation advisory in sales process
• Configuring the applications used on the online and offline platform
• Communicate with external vendors in the payment industry
• Manage merchants expectations and customer satisfaction
• Setting implementation priorities to allocate available resources
• Manage implementation process by setting milestones and reaching deadlines: reporting activities in available systems
• Identifying and advising on possibilities to improve products, processes and procedures
• Communication to other departments like Business Development, Sales Support and Product Development

Professional requirements:

• Bachelor degree or higher
• Experience in managing customer relations
• Experience in managing projects
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• General knowledge of internet and ICT
• International affinity and experience in the payment industry
• Critical in a positive way with a sense of organization awareness
• Result- and cost driven
• Customer-oriented and enthusiastic
• Good command of English
• Preferable Korean or Japanese in writing and speech
• Team player
• Achieving internal service levels
• Customer satisfaction
