Leading Cross-Border Merchants Convene in Paris for Annual GlobalCollect Customer Advisory Board Meeting

Paris, France – 13 March, 2015 – GlobalCollect, an Ingenico Group company and the world’s most knowledgeable payment service provider, today kicks off its annual Global Customer Advisory Board meeting in Paris, France. The Global Customer Advisory Board (GCAB) is a key element of GlobalCollect’s Customer Advocacy Program, and brings together leading cross-border eCommerce merchants to discuss emerging trends in online payments and exchange best practices. GCAB 2015’s objective remains unchanged: facilitate an environment that enables effective focus and collaboration on specific areas of business, as defined by GCAB members, via workshops, open discussions, and networking among peers and senior representatives of GlobalCollect.

The Global Customer Advisory Board represents of a cross-section of GlobalCollect’s customer base of large, multinational eCommerce companies with significant cross-border operations. Board members convene annually to develop a 12-month program with priorities and action items. GCAB members act as sponsors for the individual action streams, and GlobalCollect provides monthly progress updates. Past GCAB meetings have powered or contributed to the joint development or expansion of initiatives such as the Elevate Business Intelligence solution for payments, new reporting formats, and additional payment options.
